I am now developing a range of recipes for Rakusens, that well known matzo and cracker manufacturer. Founded in 1900 by Lloyd Rakusen they have been a household name to Jewish families for over 100 years. During the 1950’s and 1960’s the company introduced the UK to bottled oils, dries pasta and instant mashed potato among others.
From the 1980’s it has sought successfully to widen the sales of its products beyond the kosher areas into mainstream grocery markets and has also established itself as a private label producer of speciality crackers including gluten free, high protein and organic varieties for customers both in the UK and abroad.
