Meatballs have a slight twist according to where you live or what you have in the fridge.
In Norway meatballs are made with minced beef and served with boiled potatoes, gravy and loganberry jam, peas and caramelized onions or if you live iIn Korea, they cook their meat balls with chilli, soya sauce, garlic, lemongrass, ginger and spring onions. They bake them in the oven and pour over an orange sauce. However in Northwood, I may just check out my fridge content and develop a new creations from its content!

The Chinese believe that each food ingredient has either yin (cooling) or yan (heating) or neutral properties and that there is a direct correlation between the food you eat and the yin yang balance in your body. Season and weather also play their part. Heating food in winter reduces the yin; cooling food in summer counters the yan.
